Frances Louise Farlow

Louise Matthews Farlow, age 89, of 885 West NC 62, Greensboro died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Farlow was born January 19, 1926 in Bainbridge, GA. the daughter of Charles and Elsie Matthews. Louise loved taking care of her family and enjoyed helping others. She was a member of the Social Order of The Beauceant of Albuquerque, New Mexico, The Eastern Star, Greensboro Chapter #14, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Gate City Shrine #2 and Odd Fellows of Greensboro. Louise was active at the Smith Senior Center, Greensboro water aerobics class for many years. In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jesse Quinton "Buck" Farlow; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters: Gwen Farlow of Randleman, and Lynda Bare and her husband Larry of Elizabethton, TN.; grandchildren: Deanise Arrowood and her husband Wayne of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Dean Bare and his wife Ann of Gray, TN.; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her canine companion, Sally; The family will receive friends Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Paul Church Cemetery, High Point Street, Randleman with A.B. Scott officiating. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Whitestone a masconic and eastern star community and Hospice of Randolph for their compassionate care that was offered to them.
