Frances Pike Damron, age 66, of 4986 Cherrywood Rd., Randleman died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. Damron was a native of Surry County and a member of Mt. Olive Wesleyan Church in Sophia. Frances was a former employee of Fox Apparel in Asheboro. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Damron.
She is survived by her husband: Gerald Damron of the home; daughters: Maria Damron of Asheboro, and Sandra DeWilde and her husband Dennis of Randleman; son: Blake Damron and his wife Jennifer of Asheboro; grandchildren: Samantha Hughes of Randleman, and Blakeley Damron of Asheboro; sister: Kathy Edwards of Mt. Airy; brothers: Jimmy and Junior Pike both of Pilot Mt.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Wesleyan Church, 3290 Mt. Olive Church Road, Sophia, NC with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Paul Griffin officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
