Frances Louella Coggins

Frances Louella Trotter Coggins, age 81, of 1527 Arrowwood Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Boyd Byerly and Pastor Wayne Eller officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Frances was born on November 7, 1927 in Asheboro, NC to the late Ervin Lee Trotter and Leona Tysinger Trotter. She was the former owner of C's Casual Shop and along with her husband, was former owner of Zooland Hosiery, Inc.. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Mont P. Coggins, Sr., sister, Mozelle Julian, and brother, James Trotter. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Smith and her husband Jimmy of Asheboro, NC, Shirley Coggins of Asheboro, NC and special friend, Jack Kiser, Phyllis Hames and her husband Terry of Mayodan, NC, Cathy Coggins of Winston-Salem, NC; son, Mont P. Coggins, Jr. and his wife Damaris of Asheboro, NC; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and brother, Robert Trotter of Bennett, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Randolph Sheltered Workshop, P.O. Box 1367, Asheboro, NC 27204 in honor of Shirley Coggins.
