Frances Voncannon Bullins

Frances Voncannon Bullins, age 86, formerly of Cliff Road , Asheboro died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Universal Health Care Of Ramseur, Ramseur. Mrs. Bullins was born in Randolph County on May 31, 1925, the daughter of Goodman and Bertha McPherson Voncannon. She was retired from Bossong Hosiery and was a member of Spoons Chapel Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bullins was preceded in death by her husband, J. C. Bullins, daughter, Judy Morgan, brothers, Edward, James, Nolan, Gene and Dempsey Voncannon and sisters, Gladys Cox and Barbara Wright. She is survived by her son, Jerry Bullins and his wife Carol of Asheboro; grandchildren, Holly Bullins and her husband John Archer of Portland, OR, Ginny Kirby and her husband Dylan of Asheville, Ben C. Morgan and his wife Megan of Asheboro, Chris Armitage and her husband Luke of Asheboro; great grandchildren, Luke and Forrest Morgan of Asheboro, Emerson Armitage of Asheboro; sister, Margaret Shelton of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of her son, 1870 NC Hwy 49 South, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00 am at Spoons Chapel Christian Church, Asheboro with Pastor John Auler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the excellent care Mrs. Bullins received while at Universal Health Care. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Spoons Chapel Christian Church, 1838 Spoons Chapel Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205 or the charity of donor's choice.
