Frances Monroe Brown Brewer

Frances Monroe Brown Brewer, age 93, of Asheboro passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation. Mrs. Brewer was born in the Erect Community of Randolph County on April 3, 1924 to Benjamin and Nettie Monroe Brown. She was employed as an LPN for 35 years. She retired from Randolph Hospital and was formerly employed with Dr. Frank Edmondson. She was a member of the North Carolina LPN Association for 30 years. Frances was a member of Balfour Baptist Church for 65 years, where she sang in the choir. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Brewer, 7 sisters, and 4 brothers. Frances was a hard working lady who loved her Lord. She enjoyed reading and baking. She is survived by her daughter, Clydeene Routh of Rockwell; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. Burial will be in the Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Robbins.
