Forrest Lee "Frosty" Hall, age 68, of Asheboro died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Hall grew up in Sophia, was a 1962 graduate of Randleman High School and a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church. He was formerly employed with Bryant Electric and Baker Construction. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Exie Lamar Hall and his brother, James Allen Hall. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Gaster Hall; daughter Cathy Smith and her husband Karl Smith of Randleman; grandson, Casey Smith; brothers, Earl Hall and his wife Peggy of Randleman, Norman Hall of Trinity; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; aunts, Lucille Waynick of Greensboro, Metta Hartley of Sophia. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 119 W. River Drive, Randleman with Rev. Carol Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. The family would like to express a special thanks to their family, the Hospice House staff and friends and neighbors who provided love and assistance during Forrest's illness.
