Forrest Fields, age 75, of 1488 Creekside Dr. in Randleman went home to be with the Lord after a long illness Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his home. Mr. Fields was a native of Roane County, W. Va., a member of Red Cross Baptist Church and a U.S Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a supervisor with Deluxe Check Printers in Greensboro prior to his retirement after 26 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ivalou Carte Fields, sons: Forrest G. Fields, Jr. and his wife Reecie, of Congress, AZ and Michael R. Fields and his wife Jan, of Franklinville, NC; grandchildren: Jennifer Ann and David Ethan Fields both of Franklinville, NC and Chuck Martin and his wife Kelly of Pleasant Garden, NC; sisters: Helen F. Rausch and her husband, Ken of Auburn CA., Irma Frances Kime and her husband Jim of Tiffin OH; Joann F. Rogers and her husband Mike of Elkview W. VA; and Brenda K. Burgess of St. Albans W. VA; brothers: Ralph Junior Fields and his wife Judy of Walton, W. VA., Harry Fields and his wife, Mary of Orrville, OH and Jack Lee Fields and his wife D.J of Walton, W. VA.The family will receive friends Friday, May 1, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Red Cross Baptist Church, Highway 22 in Climax with Rev.
