James Floyd Luck, age 83, of 586 N. McCrary St., Asheboro died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Randolph Hospital.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Auler and Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the Spoons Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
Mr. Luck was a native of Randolph County and lived in Michigan for 40 years. He attended Franklinville Schools and was retired from Kelsey Hayes in Romulus, Michigan. Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Poole and Christine Kidd.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Robbins Luck; daughters, Deborah Anderson and her husband Michael of New Boston, MI, Nancy Kerr of Asheboro, NC; sons, James Luck, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Manchester, MI, David Luck and his companion Jackie Wright of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Allison Wisniewski and her husband Michael of Appleton, WI, Audrey McHugh and her husband Joe of Grass Lake, MI, Rachael Swinkey and her husband Raymond of Wyandotte, MI, Brian Kerr of Woodhaven, MI and Anthony Anderson of Woodhaven, MI; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Flona Johnston of Asheboro, NC, and Geneva Goins of Asheboro, NC.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
