Fleta Caveness Brookshire

Randleman - Fleta Caveness Brookshire, age 89, of Randleman died Monday, January 21, 2013 at North Point Assisted Living, Asheboro. Mrs. Brookshire was born June 26, 1923 in Randolph County to Ambrose Lee and Ada Lou Allred Caveness. She was a member of Marlboro Friends Meeting and retired from Laughlin Hosiery Mill. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brookshire was preceded in death by her husband, Claude G. Brookshire, sisters, Letis Caveness Jones and Marie Caveness Sears and her brother, Bertis Caveness. She is survived by her nephews, Stephen Sears of Siler City, Marty Sears of Burlington, David Jones and his wife Lois of Cary; niece, Carolyn Stinson of Bear Creek. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the Randolph Memorial Park Mausoleum with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
