Faye Tedder

Margaret Faye Tedder, 67, passed away at her home on February 16, 2016. Mrs. Tedder was a native of Montgomery County and retired from Weeks Construction. She loved to ride the motorcycle with Alex and would spend her free time cross stitching. She was a very strong, loving wife, mom, grandma and sister. Her life's story was recently published in the book "Faye Tedder, A Woman of Determination and Strength". She is survived by her husband, Alex Tedder; children, Barry Hamilton and wife Donna of Asheboro, Tiffany McIntosh and husband Ted of Asheboro, Matthew Tedder and wife Genevieve of Advance; grandchildren, Edward Smith of Asheboro, Casey Hamilton of Charlotte, Jacob Tedder of Asheboro, Logan McIntosh of Asheboro; sister, Barbara Owens and husband James of Norfolk, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Union Grove Christian Church Cemetery, 3985 Old NC Hwy 13, Asheboro with Dr. Jody Harrison officiating.
