Faye Stamey

Molly Faye Stamey, age 68, of Randleman died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Stamey was born October 31, 1944 in Roanoke Rapids to Joseph and Katie Gunter. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Stamey was a very generous lady who was loved by everyone and a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stamey, Jr. She is survived by sons, Billy Upchurch and wife Cathy of Knoxville, TN, Tony Upchurch and wife Barbara of Sophia; daughters, Tammy Hudson of Randleman, Jennifer Stamey of Asheboro; grandchildren, Travis Upchurch Mullins, Aaron, Tyler, David and Amy Upchurch, Jennifer Upchurch Miller and husband Matt, Tanya Hudson Cox and husband Charlie, Amber Hudson, Brandi Chriscoe, Mikayla Kearns, Zach Stone, Shannon Hunnicutt, Sedona Marie, Wayne Lloyd, Travis Connor and wife Amanda; 7 great grandchildren and expecting 2 more; brother, Ray Gunter and wife Vicki of Durham. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Jimmy Jones officiating. The family ask for you to meet them at Pugh Funeral Home at 11:30 am and go in procession to Randolph Memorial Park.
