Faye Poplin McIntyre

Faye Poplin McIntyre, age 86, died Sunday, March 16, 2008. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, NC. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. A longtime resident of Asheboro, Mrs. McIntyre had been residing for several years at Reynolda Park Assisted Living in Winston-Salem, NC and then most recently at Woodstock Nursing Home in Woodstock, GA. Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her husband and friend of many years, C.W. (Bill) McIntyre and one brother and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Tim McIntyre and daughter-in-law Ruth of Winston-Salem, NC and her daughter Karon and son-in-law Dom Carpentieri of Marietta, GA. Grandchildren, JD Carpentieri of London, UK; Alan Carpentieri of Willits, CA; Jason McIntyre of High Point, NC; Ashleigh McIntyre of Advance, NC; Lisa Boatright of Powder Springs, GA; Nick Carpentieri of Atlanta, GA; 8 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Ray Poplin and sister-in-law Jean of Marshville, NC; sisters, Joyce Lineberry of Asheboro; NC Hazeline Herrin and her husband, Rayvon, Elsie Burris, and Bobbie Smith and her husband Ralph all of Albemarle, NC. The family will receive friends beginning at 10am on Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC.
