Faye Farlow

Faye Reece Farlow, age 79, of Sophia died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Farlow was born April 14, 1939 the daughter of John and Mallie Wood Reece.Faye was a native of Randolph County and a member of Sophia Baptist Church. She retired from Deep River Dyeing Company with 30 years of service. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Farlow, sons, Arlen Charles Farlow, Michael Tim Routh, and Marshall Kim Routh, granddaughter, Emily Halliburton and great grandson, Christopher Routh.

She is survived by her daughters: Penny Swicegood and husband Ted of Asheboro, and Jenny Halliburton and husband John of Sophia; son: Randall Routh and wife Judy of Randleman;16 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 1:00 - 2:30 at Sophia Baptist Church, 4082 Millikan Rd., Sophia, NC. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Bill Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Marlboro Friends Meeting Cemetery.
