Faye Barton Bowen

Faye Barton Bowen, age 75, of Franklinville died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Russell's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Fonner officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Bowen was a native of Glouster County, MS and was retired from Technimark. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing bingo and watching soap operas. She loved animals especially her dogs and birds. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bowen, daughter, Donna Campbell, who will be interred with her mother, parents, Leroy and Minnie Barton, sister, Harriett Hogue, and brothers, Leroy and Bill Barton. She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Pegram of Franklinville, Faye Ann Hanner of Franklinville, Theresa Murray and her husband Lester of Liberty, Birdie Collins of Asheboro; son; Harold Bowen of Asheboro; 20 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Marcella Choate of Spokane, WA, Lillian Rader of PA; brother, Charles Barton of CA. The family will receive friends Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.
