Farrell Carson Upton

Farrell Carson Upton, age 76, of 432 Hancock Rd., Seagrove died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Peak Resources in Carthage. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 7912 Union Grove Church Road, Seagrove with Dr. Ronnie Chaney officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Mr. Upton was born in Seagrove, NC on May 5, 1936 to John Raeford and Ina Louise Hogan Upton. In addition to his parents, Farrell was preceded in death by his sisters Rocity Bodsford, Nora Mabe, and Mabel Maness and brother Lloyd Upton. He is survived by his sisters, Eva Auman of Seagrove, NC, Dorothy Snow of Elizabeth City, NC, and Myrtle Mabe of Star, NC. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Upton family.
