Everette Johnson, Jr.

Everette Johnson, Jr., age 77, of 6066 US Hwy Bus. 220 South, Seagrove died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Johnson, Jr. was born May 11, 1931 the son of Everette and Lilly (Connor) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a native of Shelby, NC and retired from Ramtex of Ramseur, NC after 42 years. He was currently working with Dillard's of Asheboro. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He is survived by his wife: Lucille Johnson; son and his wife, Steve and Elsie Johnson of Seagrove, NC; daughter and her husband, Pat J. and Tony Moran of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife: Charles and Sandra Needham of Seagrove, NC; daughter and her husband, Edna and Gene Pierce of Asheboro, NC; daughter: Betty Floyd of Ramseur, NC; granddaughter, Bridget Broza; granddaughter, Lindsey Johnson; grandson, Jeff Pierce; grandson, Tony Floyd; grandson, Scott Floyd; grandson, Anthony Floyd; granddaughter, Cynthia Floyd; grandson, Bernard Needham; and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Rev. Howard Moffitt officiating.
