Everett Walker

Everett Walker, age 73, of 3195 Montclair Court, Asheboro died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Liberty Woods Nursing Facility, Thomasville. A graveside service with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Memorial Gardens with Rev. Garland Hall and Rev. Nathan Hall officiating. Mr. Walker was a native of Henry County, VA and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from B.B. Walker Shoe Company in Asheboro and was a member of Community Baptist Church in Candor. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Walker of the home, sons: Jeff Walker of Asheboro, Todd Walker and his wife Paula of Asheboro; 1 grandson: Steven Walker of Asheboro; sister: Evelyn Fagg of Asheboro; brothers:Robert Walker, Jr. of Burlington and Linwood Walker of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 12:00 noon-1:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
