Evelyn Hancock Wall

Evelyn Hancock Wall, age 84, of Asheboro died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mrs. Wall was born September 3, 1931 the daughter of Kelly Hancock and Katie Parrish Hancock. Mrs. Wall was a native of Randolph County and of Methodist Faith. She enjoyed being a poultry farmer and was a quiet person who was kind and was always caring for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Warren Calvin Wall. She is survived by two sons: Garry W. Wall, and Ricky (Kathy) Wall all of Asheboro; three grandchildren: Jessica (Ronald) Hall of Randleman, Shyanne Wall of Asheboro and Brandon Wall of Charleston, SC; five great grandchildren: Parker, Ava, Summer, Kaylee and Lauren; 6 step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, April 4, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at her home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4713 Cashatt Road, Trinity.
