Evangeline Rush

Evangeline Miller Rush, age 79, of Randleman Lake Rd., Randleman died Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Rush was a native of Guilford County and member of Sophia Church Of God. Evangeline enjoyed working in her flower garden, traveling to the mountains and bingo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alton Rush, and her parents, Rev. Bert and Cora Miller. She is survived by her daughter: Diane Rush Allred and her husband, Marshall of Asheboro; sons: Scottie Rush and his wife, Susan of Randleman, Mike Rush and his wife, Beth of Randleman, and Jeff Rush of Jamestown; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister: Jane Sinquefield and her husband, John of Jamestown; brother: Rev. Fred Miller and his wife, Lottie of Thomasville. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Jerry Mills and Rev. Fred Miller officiating.
