Eva Cooper

Eva "Billie" Dorrity Cooper, age 86, of 103 Fogleman Lane, Randleman died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Cooper was a native of Randolph County, member of Midway Wesleyan Church and worked with the Sophia Support Club. She had worked at Randleman Restaurant, Acme McCrary, Laughlin Hosiery, Circle Inn and retired from Asheboro Elastic. Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her son, John Raymond Dorrity, sisters, Lessie Varner, Maxine McPherson, Irene Corum, Shelby Jean Williams, Davine Lamb and brother, Edgar Lamb. She is survived by son: George Allen Dorrity of Randleman; daughter: Melinda Fogleman and her husband, Keith of Randleman; step son, Frank Dorrity of Madison; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Mattie Lou Shuskey of High Point, and Marie Alice Pugh of Randleman.The family will receive friends Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Midway Wesleyan Church, 331 Worthville Rd., Randleman with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
