Eugenia Grigg "Nina" Moody, age 62, Asheboro died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Mrs. Moody was born October 25, 1952 in Asheboro the daughter of Lewis Edward and Barbara Jean Newsom Grigg. Mrs. Moody was a native of Randolph County and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Asheboro. She was the former Owner/Operator of Ni-Ron Trucking of Asheboro. Nina was a loving wife of 39 years, mother and grandmother and loved all animals. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Mike Grigg. She is survived by her husband: Ronald Clyde Moody; daughter: Hannah Maie Privette and husband A.J. of Asheboro; son: Fess Powers Moody of Asheboro; grandchildren: Caitlin Paige Farmer, Jason Earl Farmer, Jr., Dalton, Alexia, Dakota and Arriana Moody all of Asheboro; sister: Nita Bailey and husband Tim of Asheboro; brother: Pat Grigg and wife Sandy of Holly Ridge. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 2:00 at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves officiating. Memorials may be made to Randolph County Animal Shelter, 1370 County Land Road, Randleman, NC 27317.
