Eugenia Blythe

Eugenia Mallas Blythe, age 79, of 338 Sherwood Oaks Drive, Asheboro, NC died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Eugenia was a native of Lake County, IN and a member of First Baptist Church. She was active in child evangelism and was a champion of the unborn. She is survived by her husband, Amos James Blythe; daughters and their husbands, Jeanne and Donald Markland of Streamwood, IL, Rebecca and Robert Waldron of Valparaiso, IN, Sue and Doug Griffith of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife, James T. and Laura Blythe of Valparaiso, IN; brother, Dan Mallas of Valparaiso, IN; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John S. Rogers and Rev. Robert Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 from 6-8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC.
