Eugene Edward Robbins

Eugene E. Robbins, age 93, of Asheboro died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at his home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 12:30-1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Robbins was born in Randolph County on February 7, 1920, the son of the late Arthur and Flossie Sheffield Robbins. He was a soldier, artist, and woodworker. He is survived by his sisters, Marjorie Luck and Genevieve Yahn both of Asheboro; and many nieces and nephews.
