Eugene (Gene) Miller Clodfelter

Eugene (Gene) Miller Clodfelter, age 61, formerly of 520 Oak Street, Troy, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Gene was born March 6, 1952 at Montgomery County, NC, the son of Walter Eugene and Leo Miller Clodfelter. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Troy and a former meat department employee of Food King. Gene was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed collecting all types of sports memorabilia. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Eugene Clodfelter. In addition to his mother, Gene is survived by one sister, Marretta C. Bruton of Troy. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 412 Bell Street, Troy; other times at 236 Oscar Road, Troy. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Harper and Rev. Jerry Mabry officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
