Ethel Fulk Eaton

Ethel Fulk Eaton, age 91, North Pointe., Randleman died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mrs. Eaton was born June 9, 1918 the daughter of John Wesley and Nora E. Whittaker Fulk.Mrs. Eaton was a native of Surry County, NC but lived most of her life in Randolph County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, gardening and crafts. She was affectionately known as "Nana Cookie." She with her husband, Rev. Wilburn Eaton, who preceded her in death, served - Community, Riverside and Cedar Falls Baptist churches. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Seagrove and of the Seagrove Garden Club. She is survived by: two daughters: Ann E. Covington of Asheboro, NC, Ellen E. and husband Paul Reed of Matthews, NC; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Brian and Kim Griffin and their children: Matt, Zack, Erin and Kristi of Morganton, NC; Jeff and Jennifer Mobley and their children: Megan, Lauren and Drew of Apex, NC; Eric and Susan Reed of Fort Mill, SC; Adam and Wendi Reed and their children: Rayna and Noah of Athens, GA; sister-in-law and her husband: Locile and Vernon Mickey of King, NC and her surrogate family: Jesse and Martha Graves, Gwen and Frankie of Seagrove, NC. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of her daughter, Ann Covington. The funeral will be Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Huldah Baptist Church, 7187 Old NC 13, Asheboro with Rev. Adam Reed and Dr. John S. Rogers officiating.
