Estelle Ballard Jenkins

Estelle Ballard Jenkins of Williamson Street, Troy died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Northeast Medical Center, Concord. Mrs. Jenkins was born at Wadeville, NC, the daughter of John S. and Mamie Byrd Ballard. She was a former supervisor for Clayson Knitting Co. of Star and attended Troy Wesleyan Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Jenkins. She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm at Southside Cemetery, S Main St, Troy with Pastor James Brewer officiating. Arrangements are by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
