Ernest Hinesley, Jr.

William Ernest Hinesley, Jr., age 81, Asheboro died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Hinesley, Jr. was born June 6, 1931 in Lenoir to William Ernest and Texie Pierce Hinesley. Mr. Hinesley was retired from Walker Shoe Company after 35 years of service and was a member of Mt. Shepherd United Methodist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and loved his church. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Estelle Fuller Hinesley; son, Steve Hinesley and his wife Vickie of Asheboro; daughter, Lori Trent and her husband Michael of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kobe Trent of Asheboro, Bradley Hinesley and his wife Emily of Asheboro, Brandy H. Beck and her husband Clint of Seagrove; great grandchildren, Lincoln Hinesley and Kylee Beck both of Asheboro; brother, Leroy Hinesley and his wife Betty Lou of Denton; sister-in-law, Pearl Hinesley. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Mt. Shepherd United Methodist Church with Rev. Harold Hammond and Rev Neil Crowell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Randolph Hospital, Hospice of Randolph and Dr. Shevlin and her staff for the care given to Ernest during his illness.
