Emogene Morgan

Emogene Morgan, age 79, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her home. Ms. Morgan was born in Asheboro on June 21, 1936 to Coy and Effie Jane Williams Morgan. She was a 1954 graduate of Seagrove School. Emogene was retired from Klaussner Furniture after 31 years of service. After retirement, she was employed with Clapp's Nursing Home. She attended High Pine Wesleyan Church Sunday school. She is survived by her sister, Doris Leonard of the home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at High Pine Wesleyan Church, 4492 High Pine Church Rd., Asheboro with Rev. Todd Leach officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Doris would like to express a special thanks to the staffs of Dr. Hanspal, Dr. Grisso, Randolph Hospital, Clapp's Nursing Home, and Hospice of Randolph for the loving care given to Emogene.
