Emmanuel Joson Pineda

Emmanuel Joson Pineda, age 60, of Asheboro died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Pineda was a native of the Philippines and was employed with Oliver Rubber Company. He is survived by his wife, Melva A. Pineda of the Philippines; children, Arthur Pineda, Almira Pineda, Grace Pineda, Bernard Pineda, and Caroline Pineda all of the Philippines; sisters, Eleanor Holyfield and her husband Ardist of Sophia, NC, Aleth Natalicio and her husband Roman of the Philippines; brothers, Edgardo Pineda, Nestor Pineda and his wife Teresita and Jesus Pineda all of the Philippines; and several nieces and nephews of the Philippines. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4:00-5:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
