Emma Virginia Thomas, age 86, of Asheboro died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2011 at 7:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Dr. John S. Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Baltimore, MD at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
Emma spent most of her life in Baltimore, MD where she was an assistant to the Pharmacist at Sollod's Pharmacy. She was a beloved mother and Mom Mom, a loving wife, a faithful friend, with a sweet and gentle spirit. Emma was contented, satisfied, and appreciative her entire life. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Rogers and her husband John of Asheboro, Nancy Hauswald and her husband Ron of Severna Park, MD; grandchildren, Brian Rogers and his wife Catherine of Indian Trail, Rebecca Rogers of Asheboro, Lauren Hauswald of Annapolis, MD, Lindsay Hauswald of Reston, VA; great grandchildren, Sidney, Sarah, Ashley, James and Sam Rogers.
