Emma Lou Bain Cranford

Emma Lou Bain Cranford, age 82, of Asheboro died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Cranford was born January 3, 1937 in McLeansville, NC to parents William Theodore and Blanche Lowdermilk Bain . Emma was a 1955 graduate of Asheboro High School and a member of Meadowbrook Church of Christ. She was formerly employed with Dr. Barnes and Dr. Harsh and retired from Prestige Fabricators.   In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. Cranford, brother, Jerry Bain and her sister, Ann Toto.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Cranford Brown and Richard Varner of Randleman, and Darla Cranford Henson and Archie Wright of Sophia, and son, Mike Cranford of Randleman, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister, Donise Fields of Level Cross.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
