Emma Greene Brady

Emma Greene Brady, age 66, of Asheboro died Monday, April 6, 2015 at Randolph Hospital. Mrs. Brady was born in Montgomery County on June 13, 1948 to Floyd Lewis and Rebecca Smith Greene. She was formerly employed as a CNA and was a member of Covenant Christian Church Ministries. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband Henry L. Brady, sister Eunice Faye Jones and brother Alton Smith. Emma was fun loving and a mother to all who knew her. She loved church, gospel music, and fishing. She is survived by her children, Emma Spencer and husband Greg, Joseph Greene and Evelyn, Charles McDonald, Jonathan McDonald and wife Demetria, Brenda McDonald, Linda McDonald, Tyrone McDonald, Christopher McDonald and Sharon, Angela McDonald, and Tammy McDonald and Tomocka all of Asheboro; 38 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Leroy Smith and wife Jacqueline of Biscoe; sisters, Ola Mae Greene and Josephine Greene both of Star; and sister-in-law, Mary Smith of Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Christian Church Ministries, 1565 Covenant Mountain Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Lois Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery in Star.
