Elsie Lee Cox Lassiter, age 87, of 633 S. Main St., Asheboro died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Ken & Pat Thames officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Lassiter was a native of Randolph County and was a member of Asheboro Friends Meeting. She was retired from General Electric after 32 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Wade Burton Lassiter; daughters, Judy L. Bell of Henderson, NC, Sue Ellen Lee of Oxford, NC; grandchildren, Jill C. Renigar of Wilmington, NC, John C. Renigar of Raleigh, NC, Kimberley Anne Moyer of Glasgow, MT, William Carlton Tatum of the U.S. Air Force; great grandchildren, Michaela Ann Boone of Wilmington, NC, Hazel Brook Renigar of Raleigh, NC, Blake Moyer of Glasgow, MT, Austin Moyer of Glasgow, MT, and Mandy Moyer of Glasgow, MT.
