Elsie Trogdon Phillips Andrews

Elsie Trogdon Phillips Andrews, age 88, of Seagrove died Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro.

Mrs. Andrews was born January 20, 1929 the daughter of William A. and Bythe Catherine Lamb Trogdon.

Elsie was a native of Randolph County, NC and worked in the textile industry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by 2 grandsons.

She is survived by daughters, Carol Hayes of Coleridge, Judy Shaw and husband Bruce of Asheboro, Gail M. Jones of Asheboro, Janice Farmer and husband Robert of Star; sons, Jimmy Phillips and wife Doris of Ramseur, Darrell Phillips and wife Darlene of Ramseur; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of The Jehovah's Witnesses, Burney Road, Asheboro.
