Eloise Mayberry Hunt

Eloise Mayberry Hunt, age 84, of Asheboro died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Randolph Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Balfour Baptist Church, 1644 North Fayetteville Street, Asheboro. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Hunt was born in Winston-Salem on October 16, 1929 to Robert Lee and Effie Laughlin Mayberry. She attended Balfour Baptist Church for most of her life. In addition to her parents, Eloise was preceded in death by her husband James William "Tiny" Hunt. Eloise dedicated her life to her family, raising her two children, and setting a Godly example for them to follow. Eloise enjoyed traveling, visiting with family, and doting on her yellow labrador retriever Dakota. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Dale and her husband Jay of Trinity; son, Larry Douglas Pugh and his wife Cheryl of McLeansville; grandchildren, Nicholas Dale, Jonathan Pugh, Katelyn Pugh; and sister, Shirleen Cockman of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to the Randolph Hospice House, P.O.
