Eloise Johnson Corbett

Eloise Johnson Corbett, age 80, of 418 Saunders Drive, Asheboro died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark C. Beane officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Corbett was a native of Sanford, NC and attended Asheboro First Weselyan Church. She was employed with Randolph Hospital in the Admissions Office for 33 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Maynard B. and Sandra Jackson Reid of Asheboro, NC; husband, Edwin E. Pat Burns of the home; sister, Genivive Buchanon Powell of Sanford, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The family would like to thank the nurses of 4th floor ICU and the doctors at Randolph Hospital who cared for her during her illness.
