Ellis Ray Lockamy, Jr.

Ellis Ray Lockamy, Jr., age 63, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Lockamy was born in Wilmington, NC on May 12, 1955 to Ellis Ray and Virginia Faith Robinson Lockamy. Ray was employed with Johnson Marine for 25 years. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his sisters, Angela Faith Kenny and Gwen Lockamy Bullins.

He is survived by his daughters, Elisha Lockamy and her children, Samara and Rosalee, Angela Efird and her children, Alex and Daniel, and Brandy Hill and her children, Isabella and Gabriella; former wife, Deborah Lockamy; sisters, Lynn Lockamy Smith and her children, Michael and Joshua and Summer Dawn Isom and her children, Destiny and Treaver; and uncles, Leon Robinson (deceased) and wife Rachel and their children, Theresa Messersmith, Clifton Robinson, and David Robinson and Charles "Dink" Robinson and his child, Jackie Robinson.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
