Elizabeth Ann Meyer Price

Elizabeth "Betty", "Liz" Meyer Price, age 71, of Asheboro formerly of Ramseur died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Randolph Hospital. Mrs. Price was born December 26, 1943 in Atascosa County, Texas to Leroy Frederick Meyer and Lucy Mendiola Meyer. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a former ESL teacher, working with both Asheboro City and Randolph County School Systems. Elizabeth was also formerly employed with Brian Nursing Center in Asheboro and Pat and Al's Restaurant in Ramseur. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her husband George C. Price, Jr. She is survived by children, Tommy Price and wife Tammy of Asheboro and their children Madison and Easton, Michael Price of Morganton and his children Emma and Cooper and their mother, Kristy Price, daughter, Deanna Ohlhaut and husband Stephen of West Lafayette, IN and their children, Jessica, Timothy, Claire and Samuel, Darrell Price of Long Beach, CA and his daughter Holland. She will be dearly missed by her family and her faithful felines, Silk and Si Price. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 7 - 9 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Ave., Asheboro with Father Philip Kollithanath officiating.
