Elizabeth Jones Beane

Elizabeth Jones Beane, age 84, of Asheboro died Monday, June 8, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Beane was born April 5, 1931in Hoke County to Marvin and Ina Jones. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and retired from Asheboro City Schools. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beane was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Beane, brother, Thomas Jones and sister, Clara Jean Lineberry. She is survived by daughters, Jackie Whalley and husband Bob of Asheboro, Sharon Hall; grandchildren, Holly Hall of Asheboro, Sarah Whalley of Raleigh; sister, Helen Brown and husband Ralph of Salisbury; and sister-in-law, Louise Jones of Asheboro. At Mrs. Beane's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Beane family.
