Elaine Davis Ragsdale

Elaine Davis Ragsdale, age 79, of Asheboro died Friday, November 8, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Ragsdale was born June 21, 1940 in Randolph County, the daughter of Lacy Arthur Davis and Ila Hancock Davis.

Elaine was a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church and retired from Randolph Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

In addition to her parents, Lacy and Ila Davis, Elaine was preceded in death by her brothers: Tommy Davis and Ralph Davis.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years: Louis Ray Ragsdale; sons: Danial Ragsdale and wife Tami of Richmond, VA and Robbie McDuffie and wife Anita of Troy; daughters: Vicky Elaine McNeill and husband Doug of Pisgah and Carolyn McDuffie of Asheboro; grandchildren: Jason McNeill, Justin McNeill, Jamie Garner, Michael Mannis and Kelli Mannis; great grandchildren: Mason Garner, Presley Bledsoe, Caroline McNeill and Preston McNeill; sisters: Myrna Jean Kinsey of Greensboro, Delores Miller and husband Johnny of Asheboro; her fur babies: Ellie Mae, Molly, Rosie, Oryo and Presley.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road in Asheboro with Doug McNeill officiating.
