Edwin Ashley Goodwin, Jr.

Edwin Ashley Goodwin, Jr., age 62, of 5731 Hwy 220N, Norman died Friday, April 18, 2008 at his home. Mr. Goodwin was born August 22, 1945 at Montgomery County, NC, the son of the late Edwin Ashley and the late Mary Frances (Tucker) Goodwin, Sr. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and a former truck driver. He is survived by his wife Constance Irene Kellis Goodwin of the home; one son: Scott Wayne Goodwin of Candor; one sister: Camella Jane Yarboro of Candor; one granddaughter; Elizabeth Ann Goodwin. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Troy; other times at the home. Graveside services with full Masonic rites will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Kellis Family Cemetery, Candor with Rev. Dewey Reeder officiating. Arrangements by Pugh-Troy Funeral Home.
