Edward Mason

Edward "Ed" Mason, age 67, of Staley died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home. No funeral services will be held. Mr. Mason was born in Dedham, MA on October 14, 1945 to Frank Asa and Audrey Phillips Mason, who preceded him in death. He was retired from the State of Maine as a social worker for adults with development disabilities. Ed loved the ocean and sailing, gardening, raising chickens, and playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Lattz of the home; sister, Ann Grant of Boston, MA; brother, Phillip Mason and his wife Diana; nieces, Michelle Boyle and Jennifer Carter both of Massachusetts; great nieces and great nephew, Victoria and Mason Boyle, Allison and Lauren Carter of all of Massachusetts. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Mason family.
