Edward V. Deranek, age 86, of 1004 Greystone Rd., Asheboro died Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Mr. Deranek was born January 2, 1923 at South Bend, IN. the son of Vincent and Bernice Deranek. He was a native of South Bend IN, and an Army Veteran of WWII. He was retired from Caterpillar Tractor and was a member of First E&R United Church of Christ in Asheboro. He is survived by his wife: Rosemary K. Fox; daughters: Barbara A. Sellman of Burlington, NC, Cathie Sutton of Coldwater, MI; step daughter: Linda L. Fox of France; step sons: Tom Fox of Randleman, NC and Billy Fox of Burlington, NC; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.The family will receive friends Monday, April 13, 2009 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev.
