Edward Parrish Clodfelter, Jr.

Edward “Parrish” Clodfelter, Jr. of Randleman passed away on May 18, 2019.
Parrish was a devoted son to Edward Parrish, Sr. and Zorah Holden Clodfelter who preceded him in death.
Parrish graduated from Curry High School and received his degree in business from Wake Forest University. He was a salesman for National Cash Registers for more than 40 years. Parrish spent most of his life on his beloved farm in Randolph County where he lived primarily from the time that he was six months old until his death. The farm was passed down to Parrish from his parents and was a part of his soul. Like his father, Parrish shared a love of Appaloosa horses.
Parish was a devoted father to his children. He lived to see and share in their happiness. He made many trips to see his children and looked forward to the time his children were able to spend at the family homeplace. Parrish is survived by his children, Christina Clodfelter Haire (Ed) of Mocksville and Tyler Clodfelter of Statesville. He is also survived by his siblings Ernestine Meletiou (Demetrios) of Davidson and Eddie Clodfelter (Teresa) of Southport. His sister Betsy Byerly of Greensboro preceded in him death.
Parrish had long-time friends who were like family to him. He greatly valued those friendships. He was a lifetime member of the Greensboro Elks Lodge # 602.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 10:00am at Guilford Memorial Park cemetary.
