Edna Yow

Edna Yow, age 85, of Randleman went home to be with her Lord, Friday, November 11, 2011 at High Point Regional Hospital, High Point. Mrs. Yow was a native of Randolph County, a graduate of Randleman High School and retired from J.P. Stevens and Laughlin Hosiery Mill. Edna was a long time member of Worthville United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Lida Hudson; husband, Manley "J.R." Yow; brothers, Ed Hudson, Fred Hudson, Glenn Hudson; sister Ruby Whitaker. She is survived by daughters: Linda Webster and her husband Tom of Lexington, NC, Patsy Wheeler of Randleman, NC; sons: Ricky Yow and his wife Diane of Pleasant Garden, NC, Keith Yow of Randleman, NC ; grandchildren: Erica Wheeler of Randleman, NC, Candice Dollyhite and her husband Tim of Mt Airy, Stephen Wheeler and his wife Seleta of Randleman, NC, Brian Webster and his wife Katrin of Asheboro, NC, Stephanie Auman and her husband Robbie of Supply, NC, Shantell York of Pleasant Garden, NC, Kenneth Yow of Franklinville, NC; Ken Huff and his wife Brooke of Sophia, NC, Richard Yow and his wife Amber of Fort Drum, NY, Danny Webster of Winston- Salem, NC, Laura DeLay and her husband Chris of Point Vedre Beach, FLA, 20 great grandchildren; sisters: Beulah Kirkman and Margie Bescher both of Randleman, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved pet and best friend Penny. The family will receive friends Monday, November 14, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with her son Pastor Ricky Yow, Rev. Abraham Kim and Rev. Keith Auman officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. The family gives a special "Thanks" to the High Point Cancer Center for all their Love and Care, friends at Monday night Gospel Singing at Hardee's and also their loving neighbors, Jerry and Judy Hulin and Junior and Eva Bates.
