Edna Siler McAden, age 95, of 1147 New Salem Rd., Randleman went home to her "Most Gracious Loving Heavenly Father" Thursday, July 17, 2008 at her home. Mrs. McAden was a native of Randolph County and a true "Proverbs 31" homemaker. She was a member of Centre Friends Meeting, where she had perfect attendance for nearly 50 years, was a Sunday School Superintendent and teacher and a founder of the Prayer Group for 40 years. She loved working in her flower garden,feeding her birds and driving through 48 states.Mrs. McAden along with her husband enjoyed elaborately decorating their yard for the Christmas season for 65 years.Mrs. McAden was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McAden; brother, Joe Siler and sister, Annie Lee Routh; and her parents Johnnie and Mae Berry Siler. She is survived by Son, Keith and his wife, Peggy McAden of Randleman, NC; daughter Joyce and her husband, Wayne Fogleman of Randleman, NC. one sister: Opal Wood, of Randleman, NC. Grandchildren; Ellen and her husband Anthony Cheek; Robert "Robbie" and his wife Misty McAden; Scott and his wife Sharon Fogleman; Sandy and her husband Brian Sharpe; great grandchildren, Brittany Fogleman; Rebecca Cheek; Emma Cheek; Alexis McAden; Shelby McAden; Heather Sharpe; Cassidy Sharpe; Brooklyn Sharpe; Will Cheek; Robert Cheek; Evan Cheek. and Spencer McAden; The family will receive friends Saturday, July 19, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, July 20, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Centre Friends Meeting, 325 NC Hwy 62, Greensboro with Rev. Rusty Parsons and Dr. Bob Medford officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Centre Friends Meeting, 325 NC Hwy 62, Greensboro, NC 27406 or Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
