Edna Ernestine Brown Hauser

Edna Ernestine Brown Hauser, age 93, of Sophia died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at her daughters home.

Mrs. Hauser was born April 5, 1924 the daughter of John and Mamie Brown.

Edna was a native of Yadkin County and formerly worked at Marsh Furniture. She was of Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Aldeen Hauser and 13 siblings.

Edna is survived by her daughters: Ada Rich of Sophia, Janet Grainger (Buddy) of Archdale, and Judy Collins of North Wilkesboro; sons: Grady Hauser of Asheboro, and Carl Hauser (Sheila) of Franklinville; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 23,2017 at 1:00 pm at Shoals Methodist Church Cemetery, 4112 Shoals Rd., Pinnacle, NC with Pastor Dave Mercadante officiating.
