Edna Tucker Bunting

Edna Tucker Bunting, age 88, of GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center, Trinity died Saturday, April 25, 2009.Mrs. Bunting born in Greenville, SC, was of the Baptist faith. She was previously employed by Lassister Sportswear in Asheboro. She was preceded in death by her husband Carvey A. Bunting, a daughter Dianne Johnson, a grandson Jimmy Beane, and a son-in-law James Beane. She is survived by three daughters: Linda Fox and her husband Tommy of Asheboro, NC, Betty Beane of Asheboro, NC, Mary Hill and her husband Tommy of Randleman, NC and two sons: Harvey Bunting and his wife Diane of Asheboro, NC, Tucker Bunting and his wife Betty of Ramseur. 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, two sisters: Pauline Ivester of Randleman, NC, and Naomi Perry of Piedmont, SCThe family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Marion Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
