Eddie Graham Beane, age 72, of Salisbury and formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at W.G. Hefner Medical Center in Salisbury.
Mr. Beane was born March 9, 1946 in Randolph County to Boodie H. and Edna Purvis Beane.
He was an Army veteran of the 25th Infantry division - “Tropic Lightning” at Cu Chi, South Vietnam, 1966 - 1967. He was formerly employed as an electrician. He enjoyed muscle cars and had raced at Caraway Raceway. Mr. Beane was an expert marksman and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beane was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Cain Beane and step-daughter, Kimberly Rae Floyd.
He is survived by brother, Lyndon Beane and wife Ann of Randleman; sister, Nancy Wagoner and husband Tommy of Asheboro; step son, Perry Floyd of Kernersville; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 12:30-1:45pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
