Earl Lee Keene

Earland Lee (Earl) Keene, age 58, of 1132 McDowell Rd., Asheboro died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mr. Keene was born in High Point, NC and was retired from marketing and advertising. He loved life to the fullest and the love of his life was his grandchildren. He was an avid Carolina Tarheel fan and was preceeded in death by his father, William Lee Keene. He is survived by his Mother, Gladis Marie (Hubbard) Keene of Asheboro, Special Friend, Genean Rhodes of Kannapolis, who has been Earl's angel throughout his long battle with cancer; Son & His Wife, Joseph And Jennifer Keene of Asheboro, NC; Daughter & Her Husband, Carrie Ann & Brent Dorrity of Asheboro, NC; Sister and her long time companion, Janice K. Small and Denise Whichard of Randleman; Grandson, Joseph Keene, II of Asheboro, NC; Granddaughters, Sarah, Cassie, And Tarra, all of Asheboro, NC; Ten Step Grandchildren; and Two Step Daughters. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 4:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro with Rev. Gary Cubbage and Rev. Sam Hicks officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
